Davis Drone is based near Brattleboro, VT and serves southern Vermont, western Massachusetts, and southwest New Hampshire. That includes Brattleboro, Windham County, Bennington, Manchester, Keene, Greenfield, Northampton, and surrounding towns. Projects outside that area may include a travel fee.

Are you FAA certified and insured?

Yes. Davis Drone holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and carries liability insurance for commercial drone work.

How much does drone video or photography cost?

Accepted Answer

Property and roof projects start at $249. Social media drone clips start at $300. Business content and aerial overviews start at $399, and business promo videos start at $599. Custom projects start at $500+. Full starting prices and deliverables are on the pricing page.

How fast do you deliver finished files?

Accepted Answer

Standard turnaround is 48–72 hours for most photo projects. Larger video edits or custom projects may take longer. Rush delivery is available based on schedule and quoted separately.

Can you do social media clips for Instagram, TikTok, or Reels?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Short vertical drone clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook are a standard option. They can be a standalone package or added on to any business content project.

Do you do roof inspections?

Accepted Answer

No. Davis Drone provides aerial roof photo and video documentation only. This is not a certified roof inspection, structural assessment, insurance inspection, professional roofing evaluation, or damage diagnosis.

Do you provide raw footage?

Accepted Answer

Raw footage can be quoted when needed, but it is not included by default. File sizes, upload time, and storage vary by project, so raw delivery is priced per project.

What if my project is bigger or different than your packages?

Accepted Answer

Custom and multi-location projects are common. Send a short description of what you need and I'll put together a custom quote. There is no minimum project size as long as it is local.

Question 9

How do weather and seasons affect drone shoots?

Accepted Answer

Drones can't fly in heavy rain, snow, or strong wind. Shoots are scheduled with a weather window in mind, and rescheduling is normal when the weather doesn't cooperate. Vermont seasons also affect timing — fall foliage, fresh snow, and spring green each have short windows.
